Annual Salary: $130k–$150k (varies depending on years of experience)

A community health center is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee the daily operations of its nursing and clinical support team. This leadership role is responsible for supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants, managing patient flow, and ensuring quality standards in both clinical care and administrative processes. The RN will play a vital role in supporting providers, improving patient experience, and maintaining efficient workflows.

The ideal candidate is an experienced clinical leader with strong organizational skills, knowledge of quality assurance practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced primary care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support nursing and clinical staff, including onboarding, training, and performance oversight
• Manage daily clinical operations such as scheduling, triage coverage, patient flow, and supply management
• Monitor laboratory orders, results reconciliation, and reporting processes
• Collaborate with leadership on quality assurance initiatives and prepare reports for committee review
• Provide direct patient care and triage support when needed
• Deliver ongoing in-service training for LPNs and MAs
• Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA standards, and organizational policies
• Facilitate communication with hospitals and external providers to support patient care transitions

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New York State
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a primary care, community health, or similar clinical setting
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience with quality assurance processes and clinical reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; EMR experience required (eClinicalWorks preferred)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
