The Senior Commercial Roofing Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects. This role will ensure to identify and estimate the materials, labor, and other costs required for each job. The Estimator will also be responsible for communicating with clients, vendors and other pertinent parties to ensure that estimates are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roof Surveying
• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate job estimates.
• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial roofing projects.
• Research materials, labor and other cost analysis.
• Maintain records of bids, suppliers, and job costs.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and vendors.
• Assess the potential profitability of projects based on estimates.
• Review projects to ensure that all materials and processes comply with industry standards.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and standards are adhered to.
• Budget vs. Actual
• Warranty Submittals
• Strong experience with commercial roofing systems, flat, standing seam, etc

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial roofing estimation.
• Experience in The Edge estimating software preferred, not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with building materials, products, construction techniques, and industry standards.
