The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) at Providence Alaska Medical Center provides patient-focused care under the supervision of registered nurses, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. The role requires completion of a CNA training program, Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification, and BLS certification. Description
Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Charge Nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Up to $2,500 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
