ObligeAI is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our go-to-market strategy as we move through our pre-seed phase. We’re a venture-backed startup operating at the intersection of AI and enterprise software, with a mission to transform how modern institutions approach identity and security.

As we validate and expand our product with early partners, we’re looking for a marketing leader who can:

• Craft compelling narratives for both B2B and B2B2C audiences
• Lead brand development and growth initiatives
• Build scalable, metrics-driven marketing infrastructure
• Drive thought leadership and early awareness across strategic channels

• Craft and execute a scalable GTM strategy focused on cybersecurity, fintech, and enterprise sectors
• Position ObligeAI as the leader in AI-driven biometric authentication, distinct from passkeys and traditional MFA

2. Customer Validation & Research

• Lead qualitative and quantitative user research to inform market fit, including bank executives, security leads, CTOs, and consumer-facing use cases
• Build a deep feedback loop with early pilot customers to guide roadmap and messaging

3. Product Marketing

• Partner with the product team to translate features like GestureKey, MGA, and PassPhrase Recovery into compelling narratives
• Launch campaigns around pilots, technical milestones, SOC2 compliance, and white paper releases

4. Competitive & Category Analysis

• Define our differentiation against MFA, FIDO2, Auth0 Biometrics, Face ID, and passkeys
• Identify key narrative wedges for VC, customer, and media audiences

5. Brand Leadership

• Oversee all branding and messaging assets including website, explainer videos, investor decks, and campaigns
• Build ObligeAI’s presence across LinkedIn, Medium, Twitter/X, and cybersecurity events

6. Growth & Demand Generation

• Launch strategic paid/organic campaigns around investor milestones, partnerships (e.g., credit unions), and regulatory milestones
• Hire, manage, and mentor a small marketing team and freelancers
• Own marketing OKRs, budget, and weekly executive updates

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CMO or in a similar leadership role within the tech or banking industry, with a focus on AI-driven solutions.
• Strong background in market analysis, strategic marketing planning, and execution.
• Expertise in customer validation processes, data analysis, and insights generation.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, driving brand growth and market penetration.
