Job Description

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our trading operations through the development and maintenance of our reporting systems and data infrastructure. You'll focus on building reliable data sources, maintaining pipelines, and delivering accurate, actionable insights that promote transparency and efficiency.

In this role, you'll work with internal tools and databases to track system performance, audit and validate data, and develop dashboards and reports for a range of stakeholders across the firm. You'll also contribute to the continuous improvement of our data processes and ensure that key data sources remain accurate, timely, and well-documented.

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, data-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with cross-functional teams and using data to drive clarity, efficiency, and smarter decision-making.

What You'll Do:
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts that surface key operational and system metrics
  • Develop and manage SQL-based data pipelines that support reporting and analytics
  • Ensure data integrity across internal tools and reporting environments by auditing and validating source data
  • Collaborate with engineers, quants, and traders to define data requirements and improve reporting accuracy
  • Monitor system behavior and flag anomalies, inconsistencies, or potential data quality issues
  • Assist in maintaining and documenting system settings and configuration changes related to reporting
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting)
  • Proficient in SQL; experience working with large datasets
  • Familiarity with Python for data analysis or scripting
  • Knowledge of or interest in Tableau or other BI tools
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to navigate complex systems and isolate issues efficiently

Base salary is $65,000 - $80,000. Base salary is only one part of Wolverine Trading total compensation, which includes an annual discretionary bonus.
