We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Manager to oversee our bakery operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring the highest quality of baked goods, and maintaining a positive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for food, and a commitment to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the bakery team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality product output.
• Oversee the preparation and baking of various products, ensuring adherence to recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Train and mentor staff in food handling practices, kitchen procedures, and customer service excellence.
• Implement and maintain cleanliness standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in cash handling procedures during transactions and ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with upper management on menu development and promotional activities.
• Address customer inquiries and feedback to enhance service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a kitchen or bakery environment, with a focus on leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Experience in restaurant management or a similar setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling processes is advantageous.
• A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
• Experience with creating and stacking tiered cakes.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
