TruckPro is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Aftermarket Truck Parts who will be responsible for assisting the store manager with the overall daily operations of the store with the prime purpose of increasing sales, gross margin, and overall profitability.

Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Assist with the increase of store sales by developing and recommending marketing strategies
  • \n
  • Stay up to date on all product lines while maintaining an excellent vendor relationship
  • \n
  • Assist with recommending, hires, trains, schedules, evaluates and directs all store personnel.
  • \n
  • Assist with coaching and mentoring for professional development
  • \n
  • Assists with administration of financial matters including collection and disbursement of funds, payroll, etc.
  • \n
  • Assist with offering customer service through counter sales, communicates directly with customers and national fleet accounts and directs inside and outside sales staff while building and maintaining key customer relationships
  • \n
  • Assist with preparing various reports for Regional Managers
  • \n
  • Assist with adequate inventory levels are being maintained
  • \n
  • Assist with physical inventories
  • \n
\n

Successful Assistant Store Manager Candidates Will Have:

\n
    \n
  • Minimum one year of related work experience 
  • \n
  • Heavy-duty industry knowledge and experience required (heavy-duty truck parts and/or heavy-duty service repair)
  • \n
  • Ability to operate power industrial equipment (forklifts, etc.)
  • \n
  • Ability to lift up to 50+lbs
  • \n
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record required
  • \n

  • The role is a physically active role

  • Will frequently be required to: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing and climbing
  • \n
  • Will frequently use a computer in the course of completing daily activities
  • \n
