SKY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

Full-time Accountant

Duties:

• Manage accounting functions including cash flow, cost management, financial analysis, financial reporting and record keeping, General Ledger (GL), and investment tracking
• Responsible for GL reconciliation, analysis of financial accounts, and preparation of journal entries
• Provide end-of-month close and produce monthly financial statements
• Process and reconcile payroll using third party software.
• Ensure all activities are in accordance with GAAP and records are maintained accurately and in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Must have a good understanding of GAAP and possess strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft EXCEL is required.

Requirements:

• Organizational skills, accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
• Maintain total confidentiality.
• Must meet goals and objectives set by management.
• A degree in Accounting or Finance with experience is preferred.
